From 3 to 6 September, the Asturian brands made the rounds of various French showrooms to present the AsturiasFashion project, and they will be weighing the option of participating in these leading international fashion trade fairs in future.
With the support of Asturex, fashion companies Bvara, Cuerokas, Daughter of Style, Nael Swimwear, Yes 50 and Zapatos de Plumeti spent 3 to 6 September visiting the Who’s Next, Impact, Traffic and Bijorhca trade fairs, which are held at the same time at Porte de Versailles in Paris.
The purpose of their trip was to get to know the latest European fashion trends and gauge whether these trade fairs are the right venues for them as a group to jointly promote Asturian fashion brands on the international stage in future. At the same time, there will be meetings with French fashion showrooms and the Spanish Trade Office in Paris to feel out the best options for the Asturias Fashion project (www.asturiasfashion.com) in France.
The companies all considered that these trade fairs are a great opportunity for networking and getting a toe in the door to the French market and the European market in general. #Asturiasfashion may well participate in upcoming fairs as a group; this could be an instrumental move to promote the industry.

- BIJORHCA. International trade fair dedicated to precious jewellry, fashion jewellry and watches. Now also held in conjunction with Who’s Next.
