The company is launching a new mini-site for this event, which highlights the dynamism and creativity of Asturian fashion and reinforces Asturex’s support for this sector of the economy.
35 companies have already taken part in the Asturian Fashion Brands International Promotion Plan, launched by Asturex in 2020.
The aims of the virtual meeting with European distributors are to present Asturian fashion brands, test products, sound out markets and initiate or increase contacts with international distributors. This first meeting, in which 19 Asturian designers will take part, has been organised by the Sociedad de Promoción Exterior Principado de Asturias (Asturex), and will take place from 15 to 30 March. The virtual meeting will be attended by fashion distributors from Portugal, France, Benelux, Italy and the Scandinavian countries.
To promote the event, Asturex has launched the mini-site https://asturiasfashion.asturex.org on which each participating brand is introducing its most iconic designs to potential European distributors. The site highlights the dynamism and creativity of Asturian fashion and reinforces Asturex’s support for this sector of the economy.

OTHER EVENTS INCLUDED IN THE ASTURIAN FASHION BRANDS INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION PLAN
Over the week 8-12 February, 4 Asturian brands took part in the Liftdays fair of the B2B Marketplace Ankorstore. In the course of that week, shops from all over Europe were able to purchase products from the Asturian companies that took part: CUEROKAS, NAEL SWIMWEAR, TRES CHIC ACCESOIRES and URDIMBRE.
The fashion industry is one of the strong points of the Ankorstore marketplace, which focuses on working with little-known brands, since its key aim is to make new brands known in other markets.
Asturex launched the Asturian fashion brands international promotion Plan in 2020. It includes both networking, awareness-raising and attracting interest, and advertising and marketing. It also works with the distribution chain and international promotion. Since it was launched, 35 companies in the sector have taken part in its various activities and programmes.
